  • Dr Hill graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1990 and appointed as a consultant anaesthetist at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester (2000 to date).
  • Visiting Associate Professor at Duke University (1997-98) specialising in pre-operative assessment and anaesthesia for the high risk surgical patient.
  • Specialist interests include pre-operative optimisation of super morbid obese patient, and providing anaesthesia for the high risk bariatric patient.
  • Developed regional Preoperative Association teaching programme and Co-author of “Evidence-based Guidelines for Preoperative Assessment Units”.
  • College Tutor for Anaesthesia at St Richard’s Hospital (2011-15).
  • Training Programme Director for ACCS training (Anaesthetic exit) in HEKSS (2015-20).
