We are a group of independent consultant anaesthetists that work in West Sussex. Within the group there are specialists that cover all areas of anaesthetic practice.

Our aim is to ensure your operation and recovery is as comfortable, pain-free and safe as possible.

We are here to look after you before, during and after your operation and ensure safe anaesthesia and post operative pain relief.

Our Consultants

The group consists of fifteen Consultant Anaesthetists based at St Richards Hospital, Chichester, serving West Sussex hospitals in the area, including Chichester Nuffield Hospital and Goring Hall Hospital. We provide full anaesthetic services for all surgical procedures, acute and chronic pain control and intensive care. Members of the group have been providing anaesthetic services to people in the area for over twenty years.


Being fully accredited Consultant Anaesthetists, we maintain a very high standard of professional training and development. This enables us to provide the highest levels of care during your stay in hospital.

The Team

All of the doctors in our group are Consultant Anaesthetists based at St Richards Hospital, with close established links to both NHS and private practice in the area. As such, we maintain the highest standards of professional training, experience and development. All are fully accredited with the Royal College of Anaesthetists. This enables us to provide the highest levels of care during your stay in hospital.

Fee Structure

Self-pay: anaesthetic fees are paid by you

Fixed price: anaesthetic fees are included within the ‘package price’

Insured: your insurance company will pay all or part of our fee.

Pre-Op Assesment

All our patients are pre-assessed by questionnaire, before reaching hospital. Any forms raising questions are passed for review by an anaesthetist.
